According to Rudolf Steiner, Ahriman was a demon, on par with Lucifer. This evil is represented by technology.

Dr. Douglas Gabriel states that, "there literally is evil in the world, and that evil is coming to us through machines"

As Steiner himself mentions in his lecture, The Ahrimanic Deception, "Ahriman is the power that makes man dry, prosaic, philistine — that ossifies him and brings him to the superstition of materialism. And the true nature and being of man is essentially the effort to hold the balance between the powers of Lucifer and Ahriman; the Christ Impulse helps present humanity to establish this equilibrium."

Technology isn't encouraged in Steiner Schools, not because of some scientific studies or detailed research, but because of Anthroposophists' firm belief that demons live in electricity and can possess young children.

As the title suggests, it's a detailed factual exploration of how people can be so easily radicalised to turn on a family they've never met, and the damage this can cause. Such attacks were not based on evidence, but solely by the convincing tones of one of their colleagues' fabrications.

BBC Newsnight on Steiner Schools, Racism and Bullying

This is another video not produced by us. On the 2nd of August 2014, the BBC ran a programme on Steiner School and featured the British Humanist Association which had written a report on the issue of racism in these schools. Now the BHA informed the BBC's viewership that they'd also always been concerned about all the bullying in those school, even though they had told us personally that this was of no interest to them at all.
